
The Evidence to Policy for Kenya Care Economy Project
ADSE in partnership with UN Women is implementing Evidence to Policy for
Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE) is the development agency of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Dioceses of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and Garissa. Administratively, these Dioceses fall under Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera Counties respectively. ADSE has a wide mandate to undertake development work in the whole region and in ensuring improved livelihoods through integrated initiatives i.e: Food Security , Water hygiene and sanitation, Community Health and Nutrition, Environmental conservation and climate change, and social inclusiveness (Economic empowerment among women and youth groups, Disability and Child protection) which are dependent on each other as they impact on Community socio-economic status.
Strengthened community resilience and adaptive capacity to Climate-related Hazards and Natural disasters
Enhanced access to quality health and nutrition services through the strengthened systems, innovative programs, advocacy and partnerships
Increased agricultural productivity and incomes for smallholder farmers
Improved water availability and sustainable management of water resources and sanitation services
Enhanced justice, equality and equity of opportunities, accountability, good relations among communities
