This strategic objective is designed to respond to the societal issues that affect vulnerable populations due to broken systems, bad governance and lack of enforcement of the rule of law.
The strategic objective responds to goal number 16 of the sustainable development agenda. Advances in ending violence, promoting the rule of law, strengthening institutions and increasing access to justice are uneven and continue to deprive millions of their security, rights and opportunities and undermine the delivery of public services and broader economic development.
