Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE) and the County Government of Makueni signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration to deliver integrated, community-driven development programmes across the county.
The partnership formalizes a shared commitment to building resilient, healthy and prosperous communities through coordinated investments in water and sanitation, climate-smart agriculture, environmental conservation, health and nutrition, community governance and inclusive economic development.

Results in Makueni County
Over the past six years (FY2019–FY2025), ADSE has mobilized and invested KES 394.2 million in Makueni County through partnerships with international development agencies. These investments have delivered tangible results across all six sub-counties.
Average Household Water Collection Time
Reduced from approximately three hours to 45 minutes, improving access to safe water while increasing opportunities for education, health, household productivity and economic participation.

Looking ahead, ADSE has developed programme plans valued at approximately KES 910.28 million for implementation between FY2026 and FY2029. The proposed investments will support priority interventions in:
